  നനഞ്ഞു തീർത്ത മഴകൾ                                         - ദീപാനിശാന്ത്              നമ്മുടെ കോളേജിലെ ലൈബ്രറി റീഡേഴ്സ് ഫോറത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി ഇന്ന് ഒരു പുസ്തക അവലോകനം നടത്താൻ എനിക്ക് അവസരം ലഭിച്ചു. ഞാൻ അതിന് വേണ്ടി തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത പുസ്തകം "നനഞ്ഞു തീർത്ത മഴ" എന്നാണ്.  ഓർമ്മക്കുറിപ്പുകളിലൂടെ ശ്രദ്ധേയയായ മലയാളത്തിലെ ഒരു യുവ എഴുത്തുകാരിയാണ്  ദീപാനിശാന്ത്‌ . തൃശൂർ   ജില്ലയിലെ   ശ്രീ കേരളവർമ കോളേജിലെ  അസിസ്റ്റന്റ് പ്രൊഫസ്സറായി   ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്നു. ദീപയുടെ കൃതികൾ പ്രധാനമായും സ്മരണകളും സാഹിത്യ അവലോകനങ്ങളുമാണ്‌. സാമൂഹിക മാധ്യമങ്ങളിലൂടെയുള്ള ഇടപെടലൂടെയും ഓർമ്മക്കുറിപ്പുകളിലൂടെയും അവർ പ്രശസ്തയാണ്.         സാമൂഹ്യരാഷ്ട്രീയസഹിത്യ രംഗത്തെല്ലാം തന്റേതായ അഭിപ്രായങ്ങൾ വെട്ടിത്തുറന്നുപറയാൻ ധൈര്യംകാട്ടിയ കോളേജ് അദ്ധ്യാപികയാണ് ദീപാനിശാന്ത്. അതുകൊണ്ടുതന്നെ ഒരു പരിചയപ്പെടുത്തലിന്റെ ആവശ്യമില്ല. ഇതിനോടകം തന്നെ അവരെഴുതിയ ഓർ...

WORLD PIANO DAY

  WORLD PIANO DAY Today our college had observed the World Piano Day. This annual event is observed on the 88th day of the year. This day was chosen in correspondence to the number of keys available on a piano. And according to this, it falls on March 29 in the year 202 3. The purpose of the event is to provide a platform for piano-related initiatives that will advance musical innovation and spread the joy of playing the piano. The piano played by Dharunya of 2nd Year BEd had been presented. 

International Mermaid Day

  INTERNATIONAL   MERMAID DAY 2023 Today, our college had celebrated the International Mermaid Day. It is observed every year on March 29. It's for lovers of the fabled creature that's appeared  in literature, mythology, music,films, and pop culture for a long time. In our childhood, we have all heard various fairy tales from our parents or grandparents, such as Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Sleeping Beauty, and many others. Most of the characters in these stories are imaginative and fascinating, with their unique appearances. Similarly, ‘The Little Mermaid’ is also one of the most popular fairy tales. Its beautiful character always attracts children, as its upper portion represents a beautiful lady, while the lower portion represents fishtails.   WORLD THEATRE DAY Today on 27th March 2023(Monday), our college had celebrated the World Theatre Day which was organised by the Department of English Education. The various programmes included quiz, speech and a drama. Every year on  March 27, World Theatre Day  is celebrated worldwide to promote the significance of theatrical forms. Theatre not only provides entertainment but also serves as an art form that educates and inspires individuals. Many plays are performed on a variety of topics, including social issues, entertainment, and comedy. This day aims to increase public understanding of the importance of theatre in our lives. World Theatre Day promotes the importance of theatre to the public and encourages people to participate in theatre events. Syllabus-ENHANCING DIGITAL SKILLS

  CHOSEN ACTIVITIES  1) Create educational blogs for individual/group students for strengthening sharing and learning.  2) Develop a grade sheet using spreadsheet.  3) Identify and using a webquest in their subject in the school.  4) Embed the learning materials and educational videos created by the student teachers in their respective blog.  5) Identify few teaching apps and make a report on them with screenshots and descriptions.

Fundamental Rights in Indian Constitution The fundamental rights are defined as basic human freedoms that every Indian citizen is entitled to enjoy for a proper and harmonious development of personality. These sights universally apply to all citizens irrespective of race, place of birth religion, caste or gender.  The 6 fundamental rights recognized by the Indian constitution are: 1) Right to Equality It includes equality before law, prohibition of discrimination on grounds of religion, race, caste, gender or place of birth and equality of opportunity in matters of employment, abolition of untouchability. 2)Right to Freedom This includes freedom of speech and expression, assembly, association or anion, movement, residence and sight to practice any profession of occupation, right to life and liberty. 3) Right against Exploitation  This prohibits all forms of forced labour,  child labour and trafficking of human beings. 4) Right to freedom of  Religion This includes fr...
